Inter-aviation golf league

Cleared for Teeoff’s amateur golf league brings together a diverse group of aviators, forming six-man teams that represent a wide range of organizations within the aviation industry. Participants include pilots from major airlines like Delta, Southwest, American, United, JetBlue, SkyWest, Republic, and Envoy, as well as military aviators, college students from university flight schools, and others from across the aviation world. The league will feature two tournaments each year: one over a weekend in the spring and another in the fall. The tournament structure spans three days, starting with a practice round on Friday, followed by competitive rounds on Saturday and Sunday.

To foster networking and collaboration across different aviation sectors, each foursome will be strategically paired with at least one member from a different airline or aviation group. In addition to providing a fun and competitive atmosphere, all funds raised from these tournaments go towards helping offset the steep financial burden faced by aspiring pilots who may not have the resources to pay for their pilot certificates. These contributions help make it possible for those passionate about aviation to pursue their dreams of becoming professional aviators, regardless of their financial background.

At the conclusion of the two tournaments, the winning team will be determined based on a cumulative score. This victorious team will have the unique privilege of awarding the scholarship money to the deserving aspiring aviators in need, directly impacting the future of the next generation of pilots.
